Best time was 11.15 @ 125. It was around this time that I discovered my intercooler was leaking into the chargepipe

. Threw an ebay one on and kept it moving. This was an easy 10 sec setup, just needed to sort the intercooler out. Also if I had xhp at the time I would have dropped the 60' and ran a 10 even with the issue. Gotta love this platform!

Took the car to Kassel Performance to get the crankhub done

Fast forward to now:
Spent some time talking with Juan at bigboost to get settled on one of their Garrett turbo kits! I gotta say Juan is one of the most pleasant people to deal with!! Extremely helpful, timely, and responsive. 10/10 customer service so far.
I went with the Garrett G35-1050 turbo for headroom and to keep tq off the stock rods at lower rpms (for now �� )

Going with a Rickerman tune on e50!
I'm hoping I can get everything dialed in before MPACT in August. It will definitely be a time crunch lol

Update 8/10:

Still waiting on my kit so, I didn't make it to Mpact. Honestly relived because otherwise that would have been an extremely stressful week getting ready lol. According to Juan they are just waiting on the turbo to come in from Garret which should be in the next couple weeks.
At any rate, I got my Ecutek kit in thanks to Chet as well as a boost controller and "8s" plugs. Shoutout to Pelican parts for the best price, fast shipping, and shwagg with the plugs! Probably going to install the plugs sometime this week.

Update 9/26:
its finally heeeeeerrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!
I just put the "main" stuff in the shot b/c cause I didn't feel like getting everything in there. I'll get some more pics once I start the install. Everything looks *perfect* - how a true kit should come! beyond excited to get this thing in. Going to pickup the engine support bar today hopefully and start to plan the install for mid Oct at the latest!!!

Interested to see how you got with the g35-1050. Ive gone a g35-900 with a 86 rear housing to come on quicker. I have a built engine going together though

Nice to see another 335i hot boi make the jump into the f8x. I'm going big boost as well. Just got to decide if I want the efr or Garrett. I'm leaning efr since I want the ecu controlling everything

Sub'd! I was looking at getting their EFR 8474 kit. I definitely want the ECU to control everything...so much easier to deal with.
