Thanks for the feedback everyone! I'll most likely make this purchase sometime soon as I'd ultimately get the other bolt-ons sooner or later.. I'll throw her on the dyno to see the gains on different maps / combinations and share the results here.

Also, you can get more power than that with a BM3 only and blending some e85.

Hi - any reasons why you'd recommend to steer clear of the intercooler?

Intercooler is not something you really need to achieve 600 whp. Just had my car dyno'd jb4 + MHD bef on e85 car made 593 whp, 641 tq on a dynojet dyno

It is cheap china made crap. This is the same intercooler:

If you're gonna get an intercooler, Wagner or CSF will likely be your best bet. But your stock intercooler works just fine.

I have the BMS one on our M4. It's China made like literally all of them even more expensive ones but it's not like those photos at all. They also have 1/2 mile logs with the intercooler unlike others selling similar models.

Neither Wagner or CSF or EOS for that matter are made in China (the "more expensive ones")...Which "expensive ones" are you referring to?

Have you had a chance to fact check your perception of where CSF units are made?

I don't have an aftermarket IC, but just want to remind folks that many of the STOCK parts on my M$ are CLEARLY stamped "made in China"......

It's not good or bad, but let's not assume that any part made in China is turd. Clearly, BMW feels like China is "OK" for many of their "OEM" parts

Ah yes... I remember that post... Honestly, his little tirade against his competitors was quite petulant and immature.

Also, in regards to the actual CSF product... wasn't there a lot of discussion about their lack and delay in proving information or something like that?

Thats odd you had that, I did the BMS intake months before downpipes and tune, with absolutely zero issues.
Yeah man. Took the intakes off about 6 times. Threw the CEL every GD time.

I would think that the JB4 with the fuel-it kit flex fuel sensor hooked up to the JB4 would be able to give you the best possible live tune for ethanol mixes. flash tunes are guessing at E30 mix don't see how they could compete with an actual reading and live adjusting.
looking for someone who has this setup to comment.....
