It seems like it might be becoming the new normal though, my production started 9/24 as well, and I'm not slated to end until 10/15. Although some of the delay might be because of the TB paint....

I wonder if there was a large round of individual builds done while yours were in progress? Or there was a delay for some reason.

Yep.. I ordered an f82 same time my brother ordered an f80, mine was in production for 8 days, his has already been in production for 10, and estimated to have 6 more days..

Called today and i got the message, "your BMW is in the pain shop with a completion date of 10/9"

Build just finished today! Very exciting stuff. When I call BMW NA and enter in my production number, it says its on its way to the port of exit (so probably on a train here soon). Will I need to talk to a real human being to find out what ship I'm on?

Tentative PCD delivery date of Dec 8th. Hoping to avoid it with a courtesy delivery, though. The wait is so painful >_<

Ours our twins then. Started 9/24 projected finish 10/12 - pushed to 10/13. I thought the delay on mine was the individual paint.

M4's are made on the same line as the standard 3 series sedan and wagon. My CA joked that the M3's were so rare that their production at the separate factory was bespoke.
