CarPlay Interface Slowness

When using CarPlay, I frequently get interface lag, stutter and freezing. This only happens when I am moving around the menus or selecting something with the iDrive controller. When it occurs, sometimes it just lags for a split-second, and other times it freezes for several seconds. Is anybody else experiencing this behaviour? If so, have you found a way to improve the UI's responsiveness?

I am also experiencing the same issue with Car play it also happens to me when I use my phone apple car play always crashes

Interesting, mine doesn't actually crash, the interface is just intermittently slow.

I just had my dealer update my software this past week. It works much better now. Haven't had a crash since the update.

Same here, dealer updated mine last week and it works normally now.

Does your music skip/interrupt when using waze or google maps? I have sound disabled on the maps app but it still pauses music as I'm coming up on intersections when the navigation tries to tell me where to go.

Just tried resetting my iPhone. Hopefully it will help. Will report back.
