Equal length midpipe from Inked Custom - sound clip

So, I've had the Topgear Motorworks equal length exhaust for a while now. Nothing bad to say about it, but I wanted to try something else.

I bought the Equal length midpipe form Inked Custom in Germany. I chose the resonated one to pair with a axle back later and potentially DPs.

The sounds is much deeper now, due to the 70mm sizing of the pipes and resonators. Quality is top notch.

If you want the same one please contact inkedcustom on Instagram or on
https://www.facebook.com/new.fiftyninefifty

Here is a sound clip. It's cold and wet and not much grip tho.. Use headphones

Nice to see somebody make a post on Inkedcustom's new Midpipe. How did you like the fit and finish?

Fitment is spot on and the quality is perfect. These are hand made and not mass produced.

I'm currently waiting on a axle back from Inked Custom too. With resonators and the oem muffler it's not as loud as I'm used to (which was expected).

I'm pretty sure every EL Midpipe is hand made . The market is simply not large enough to mass produce these. I had to wait months for my AA EL.

I'm not gonna start that discussion. My point was that the quality is excellent.

I haven't dynoed, but I was surprised by how hard it pulled on the first drive compared to mye previous setup (TGM EL system). Didn't expect any power increase so I don't think it's placebo.

With an engine that delivers torque this one does you will never feel something like 20 horsepower up or down, question is: do you like your M sounding like crap or not?

hahaha that's a very good point! However i'm more keen into solution of installing extra resonators behind mid-pipe as discussed here: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1732975

I already accepted the fact S55 sounds like crap :P
