WTB - 2018 (maybe 2017) f80 6MT, ZCP, Exec, ZLP
Hi, looking to unload my 2014 M5 for a 2018 (maybe 2017) 6MT competition and executive packaged M3. Would be open to a trade plus cash but not required as I’ll probably just list it after picking up an M3. Under 40k miles preferred and still in a non voided warranty. Competition and Executive packs required. 6MT required ZLP lighting nice to have drivers assist plus nice to have Carbon roof nice to have. I’m in Austin TX but can travel for the right spec and price. |

[QUOTE=architecture&design;27497112]Hi, looking to unload my 2014 M5 for a 2018 (maybe 2017) 6MT competition and executive packaged M3. Would be open to a trade plus cash but not required as I’ll probably just list it after picking up an M3.
Hi, Im going to be listing my 2018 M3 comp 6 speed soon. Probably one of if not the lowest mileage car being offered in the country. Currently 3686 miles. Clean title, never tuned, never tracked. Dealer maintained. Only cosmetic mods. Can be put back to 100% stock. Coming up on its last covered maintenance so she will be up to date for the new owner. Car is alpine white with speed cloth. I optioned it to be a pure enthusiast version. I would love to keep the car as the value on this and low mileage 6 speed comps are continuing to climb but I have a G80 on order. I know she doesnt check all your boxes but you never know. |

I'm now seeing cars that have been listed for the past couple of weeks on dealers websites go up in listed price...56k to 58k, 59k to 61k...this is just nuts and nonsensical. I get the suspicion that everyone buying M3s right now is going to be royally pissed with they see $20k-25k depreciation in two years with the shortage is behind us prices correct back to normal residual values.
I spent the weekend with a 2018 6MT comp (thank you carmax 24hr test drive - test drive out on saturday, then return on monday) and while marginally more enjoyable than my M5, perhaps not so much so to justify spending the $25k+ to swap the car for a dual purpose daily driver and track car. Instead I'll be keeping the M5 and putting the budget toward a dedicated track car. If anyone knows of or is looking to sell one in the teens or low twenties, let me know. |

There are two 2018 F80s on this site just below this posting that are asking $75k. Another guy marked his as sold because he had a feeler and wouldn't list a price, but said that 56k is a low ball. These cars are individual, but that's it. If any of these cars sells for $75k, that's probably more or just under what they sold for new three years ago. Crazy times!
