The talent involved in a lap like that is astounding. I probably would have crashed about 20 times trying to hold that line at that speed. Goes to show the gap between a layman and a true professional. He made all those other cars look like they were on the way to the grocery store.

Misha Charoudin

Instructor at Apex Nürburg, racing driver, prolific YouTuber that revolves almost exclusively around the Nürburgring. His vlogs and other video content is incredibly rich in detail with your favorite German cars. He's not the typical douchebag YouTuber.

EDIT: Misha's title at Apex

I could be wrong but I thought that Robert Mitchell was the owner of Apex Nürburg?

In the comments he said he was quiet to allow viewers to enjoy. Yes I trolled through the comments.

As to his opinion, I think he made his opinion clear with two things:

1. Stated with anyone else he would have given pointers and been uncomfortable.
2. Asked him to join him racing.

Word. Got it. It was exciting. It did make me go down a rabbit hole of his YouTube videos.

Haha did you guys see this one: https://youtu.be/I-LI_jeytBI

I couldn’t stop laughing at the sounds his passenger was making. Hnnnggg

You are not wrong. Robert Mitchell is the owner of Apex. Robert is featured heavily on Misha's channel and I always enjoy his soothing demeanor.

One of my favorite videos to this date is the F80 Ring Taxi cost breakdown. Just an incredibly knowledgeable pair.

You are wrong. Misha is an employee at Apex. Robert's channel is dope I might add.

Edit:

This aftermath vid is actually more interesting to me. It goes to show you that Biermann wasn't f'ing around developing the F8X. The powertrain is bone stock and has been run hard at the ring serving all types of drivers from F1 to ring tourists without so much as a niggle. This is why you buy the F8X over the competition. Reliability, durability, consistent output in the harshest of conditions.

The lap video was nuts. Amazing the capability of the car with a skilled driver.

Oh and without helmets and with the A/C on...

I was fascinated that this car ran stock brakes with race pads and no extra cooling...and the calipers had not discolored.

Nurburgring (or TF should I say) seems to be less brake-demanding than the GP tracks we run on normal track days. Those Pagid RSL29 wouldn't have last long on a three-mile long circuit!

When driving TF it's standard to indicate right so a faster car knows you have seen him and are letting him pass.

No kidding. My brain literally cannot process the speed he was going through the corners and he made it look like he was just driving to the super market.

Anyone else stomp the floor looking for a brake pedal a couple of times during his lap?

I've been on hot laps at the Performance Center, which is quick, and been for laps in friends rides at places like Pocono. It's terrifying.

To sit in with an F1 driver...I'd grab the oh crap handle the entire ride.
