My M3
I was finally able to afford an F80 M3. These have been one of my dream cars ever since they were released. The right one popped up local to me and I nabbed it quickly. I have owned Ford Mustangs and other muscle cars before, but the driving experience was not as great as the fun I am having so far with this car.
Specs: 2018 BMW M3 Black Sapphire DCT Carbon Roof Merino Leather Connectivity Package Driver Assistance Package Premium Package HUD HK Audio Heated steering wheel M Performance Exhaust with carbon tips and extended warranty until 2026 Car only had 2500 miles/4500 kms and purchased it at $51,000 us/ $70,000 CAD Getting PPF done mid July Already ordered Tommy L Garage Rock guards. I own a 2017 AMG GLE63S as a daily driver and this will be my days off from work/weekend car. Few of my past cars: The vehicle I traded in to acquire this was a 2019 Tundra TRD. I also owned a 2002 Mustang which I sold real quickly (within a week, last month) due to finding rust on the trunk floor. Prior to that, I owned a 2016 Mustang GT that was eventually a full bolt on car making high 11s at the track, but decided to trade that in for the Toyota Truck. Nice ride.
Funny comment about "finally affording" an M3 when you also have a GLE63S

GLE63s was paid off at the beginning of this year! Side note, I have weather tech mats coming. Going to give the car a machine polish today and await the rock guards. PPF is booked for the 22nd for the front bumper and skirts as well as the quarter panel impact areas since the skirts and rear quarters have a few chips from previous owner. But it isnt too bad, its meant to be driven! |

Prices on these cars are dropping like crazy. You bought an 80k car for 51k USD... probably driven for like two months

Got my car ceramic coated and ppfd (rocker panels, front bumper, partial rear bumper, headlights and a part of the rear doors). Added a black OEM M3 rear badge and changed my kidney surrounds to black.
Vinyl wrapped my front and rear markers and now I am looking to change the tires. 265/35/19 and 285/35/19 and add lowering springs that will give me a minimal drop. |
