about an hour ago there was another like this, they started throwing bottles, a few dumpster fires, a few broken windows then the cops pushed in and broke it up ... now this is the new line and we'll see what happens. Most of the people look like they're there just there for the action, don't see many actual protesters.

A few lines of rowdy protestors just went by us on various streets, one of them tried to barricade the road with burning dumpsters, but the police lines continued to drive them away and put it out. Other smaller groups of motorcycle cops have come through at various times chasing smaller groups, and groups of police SUVs are chasing cars and protestors away.

Makes me really thankful for the police service and dedication - really excellent professionalism in a high-stress environment

I know the LA location that was being hit and it was literally 2 blocks from where my special someone and I were about to nab an apartment three months back. Aka near Little Tokyo.

Considering the craziness we are all doing really good! Sorry to hear there is continued drama etc in your family. Hopefully it settles down soon for you.
