It may pain you guys to hear this, but M cars dont have some magic inside them that makes them unbeatable. They're nice cars, but FAR from untouchable as some on this forum would like to believe.
3 parts of his post I have issues with.

The only way you can test crank HP is to pull the engine out and then test it. And no way in hell is it WHP, cause if it was, he would have totally smoked the M5.

"Once we hit about 160, the M5's sweet spot, he began too pull slowly, and we shut it off at about 170 with an extra 1/4 car length between us."
I haven't heard of any company taking out the top speed limiter for the 335i to date.

I might be wrong on the latter, but that leads me to my third issue. With a speedometer only going to 160, how does he know how fast he is going after that? He cant!

Here's the thing, its not inconceivable that his car is fast. But those are some serious inconsistencies in his post that I mention above.

He has explained that he has a carefully calibrated rear end sensor.

In someways thats true.

But if anyone did a search, they would agree it would go more toward the 335 crowd..

Example:

It's programed in the procede from Bahurst, it is possible to do, digital input 3 digital out 3. Also RD Sport offers it on the Black Box.

Yall can keep debating over how fast my car is if yall want to, but this is just funny, I did say "about 170" in my first post, just based on rate of acceleration, what it felt like, and already hitting the wall all cars run into at about 150.

Im sorry I havent had time to take the car to the dragstrip, I tried to dyno it again friday just to put them up on the boards, but the place I normally go to had too full of a garage and were actually using their dyno as a lift at the time.

All jokes aside tho. Im a bit skeptical about hanging with e60 m5 up to 170 mph.

Say you have 420 crank hp thats about 370 rwhp if you do the whole 15% drive train loss crap.

That would make you dyno a little less than me on 91 octane, and Im only even with anthony's m5 till 130 mph from a 2nd gear 40 roll.

Best case senario you make 420 rwhp. Id be very supirsed because it seems like you have the same performance mods i do. With me having an oil cooler and v2 as a difference.

I have my WI / meth injec kit at home sitting in my living room.

WI/meth injec is awesome but all it does is cool down the intake charge and boost octane.

In some cases if or not tuned for it youll end up gaining little to no power. Esp when our ecus only adapt to 93 octane.

So you would need a custom / protune to take full advantage of the meth injec.

But cool im not going to call bs anything can happen.

I think he's saying that he figured out how to do it w/ PROcede v1.47, although Shiv is setting up v2.0 for ppl to figure out how to remove the speed limiter (even though Shiv isn't technically incorporating it as a new feature). My point is I didn't think it was even possible w/ v1.47 as someone else would've figured it out by now.

Naw its ok man. I dont really feel like driving all the way to texas to race.

Im not saying your car dynos more or less than mine i just put info down thats all.

Lol trust me I could really care less if your car is faster than mine. Im by no means fast. Or claiming i have a faster car than you.

Im not here to play the pissing game. I just so happened to stumble on this thread last night. I usually dont comment on threads like this with no proof because they turn into flame wars in the end.

Sorry if i offended you and your car, didnt know if you had an oil cooler or not.

Btw are you talking about 420 rwhp or crank?

Everything is believeable except the 170~mph part no proof no way of actually knowing and also you don't even know if the M5 was modded and guess what the are limited to 155mph too.So if you Really did 170 you would have pulled not him so that part is 100percent BS until proven.

...I'm not saying he didn't hang with an M5, with the mods he's talking about it's probable, but how weird/coincidental would it be to have a race with 2 bimmers (that don't know each other) that both have speed limiter defeat?

I don't know....he's innocent until proven guilty. Tough to prove however.
