We have installed these on both suspension set ups. The ride is a little more stiff than the stock suspension. In my opinion it makes the car feel and handle better.

This is how mine turned out on the lowest setting on the fronts

Is that the lowest they go, or is something wrong? Has anybody ever experience a faulty kit?? Installer is adamant it is correctly installed.

Before these I had tried H&R SS and f80 specific springs (F80s still for sale btw). While there was nothing technically wrong with either of those sets, I actually wanted less front drop and to have the rear closer to the stock height. This car splits DD duty with my truck, so while I really liked the look a little lower with the H&R's, front bumper height around Tulsa has been a major concern (and still is frankly) with our roads/inclines. I didn't think the ride was bad per say with the H&R's, but with the KW the car rides much less bumpy/choppy...especially in the rear it seems. I have passive suspension and was really regretting not finding a car with adaptive, but after installing the KW's I'm now content with the passive. The Eibach springs probably would've done the the trick for me from the get-go, but I wasn't sure when they would be released, and frankly like the ability to take this car a little lower later on if I'm not driving it on a daily basis. I'd like to thank TAG as they were very helpful with this purchase.
Looks great, i wish mine turned out like this!

Have an idea of whats going on. Shoot me an email at info@supremepower.com and I can go over the points w you and make sure the install is correct.

We sell and install a ton of these. There a couple errors that can be made on the installation if you have not dont it before.

Would be happy to assist!

I have had the same KW HAS kit since day 1 of my car...is it possible for the sleeve kit to work with any aftermarket wheels if the manufacturer gives you the correct size and offset? I got some wheels (20x10/11 all decided by the wheel manufacturer). The perch tore into the front tires due to the wrong sizing and offset and the company isn't willing to refund the full amount. Is my suspension the problem or the wheel company? Btw they knew what suspension I had before wheels were ordered and knew I had no intention of raising up the car or getting coils.

What size tire are you running up front? Also what is the offset of the wheels?

A 20x10 front will rub if the KW HAS is a the lowest settings. The only way around it is to run a 20x9.5 or raise the height unfortunately.

My main concern with KW HAS vs coils is that this:

I'm coming from an F30 with adaptive suspension (different from M Adaptive, FWIW). I was on HR SuperSport springs and noticed that the ride was a bit bouncier than I was hoping for. The drop was perfect with my Breyton 19s, but the mismatch in spring rate vs my dampers were probably to blame for the bouncier ride quality.

So, my question is this:

I get that the KW HAS will offer a stiffer, sportier ride. But how do the spring rates match up to the M Adaptive suspension dampers? Anyone noticing a bouncier ride?

I've noticed a big loss in cornering capabilities over the stock suspension. I would love to know if there's dampers that would be better suited for the dropped height or I may just end up replacing them with full coilovers. I hate the idea of dropping 4k on suspension components when it rode so nicely and cornered like a go-kart from the factory.

Why can't they make it nice and low from the beginning!!!!

Agreed. Stock height should be lower, but BMW knows they have to find a middle ground between performance oriented folks like us, and, well, everyone else.

Thanks for your feedback on cornering dynamics. Is it the bounciness that affects your cornering?

I'd appreciate everyone's thoughts on HAS ride quality. Especially if you have M adaptive suspension.

my guess is you need a better alignment. not sure how low you went, but if you went too low, you could have also compromised the suspension geometry beyond the point at which an alignment can compensate.

I don't think the HAS kit is capable of going low enough to affect cornering beyond the correction factor of a good alignment.

Just a couple of added notes after having done the install. On the rear, it is not stated you will need a spring compressor to get the spring out, or to drop the lower control arm. If you choose to drop the arm, mark the camber adjuster eccentric before removal.

Also, I suggest exchanging the front set screws with soft tip nylon type (McMaster Carr 93285A316) to prevent damaging the threads with the steel set.

My friend and I installed the KW HAS on his M4 last weekende and since then he had some clunky nois on the rear when he drove on bumpy roads.

Every screw is fastened an double checked. It sound like the spring makes this noise.

Anyone also had this problem??

I only want to drop the front a bit less than half an inch and 0.25 in the rear. Is this possible with kW has?
