Help: Pot hole/Suspension damage/ Need a Shop
Hello guys,
So, I’m from the Orange County, CA area and had a to make a trip into downtown Los Angeles, and needless to say I ran over a massive pot hole with my rear passenger tire. Right after some error codes appeared on the dash and screen, something to do with “Chassis malfunction” and another code which I can’t recall, which cautioned me to drive “moderately.” I pulled over and turned off the vehicle to inspect the rear passenger tire/rim and everything seemed to be in working order aside from some minor cub rash on the rim. I proceeded to turn on the vehicle after the inspection and to my surprise all the errors codes disappeared (I don’t have the tools to look up the error codes it gave off) so I drove home cautiously. The following morning I go to inspect the damage further since my prior inspection was done during the night with poor visibility and I still could not see any major damage. However, comparing both rear wheels the passenger wheel seemed a bit off. Like the substructure or suspension was affected by the impact. I say this only because the space/gaps between the rear passenger wheel and the inside tire lining doesn’t seem to match the gaps of the driver side. Does anyone know of a reputable shop that I could take the vehicle to get properly inspected, preferably in OC area? Side note, I have a stock ZCP. Thanks in advance! Stay Safe! |
