Theft attempt?

So last night 3:30am my car alarm is going off in the driveway.

I have a single lane drive way 1 car garage.

Normally the M3 is garaged and there are three cars in front to move before I can get M3 out.

Last night it was first car to see in driveway.

As I look on driver side I see the key hole entry.

I could swear there was a cap on it like passenger side.

Can anyone confirm 2016 F80

Seems that driver side has key entry exposed

It was really windy last night. 40 -50 mph gusts. Wind plus a fallen branch etc could have set it off..

That's what I was thinking

I get major snow drifts in driveway cause it's narrow

I can just imagine 50mph gust swirling through driveway.

Underneath M is not very porous so I could see it getting wind lift

It’s actually really weird to hear the alarm. It’s such a high pitched whiny sound. WhenI first heard it, I laughed. I thought it would be more aggressive. Haha

I've never actually heard it...

It Was my son who woke me.

By the time I went out there it was just flashing.

This is when I miss my Doberman the most.

Soooooo

I noticed one part of my single file driveway has a slight decline or angle. Perhaps it was angled and the wind.

My driveway is sorta long; (could park 5 midsize cars before reaching sidewalk) so I never noticed that angle before.

What I have noticed is my boxer hound mix sniffing around the car lately. Hmmmmmmm

I open the trunk and one of my energy bars was chewed on by a field mouse I guess.

Good dog guess he was scenting the field mouse

Energy bars and food removed

(I have this thing/idea where I get stuck in car with no food and the energy bar keeps me going &#128518
