Downpipe install in northern Ohio?

Seems that every shop I go to won’t install my catless downpipes because... they’re catless. Does anybody live in northern Ohio or know of any reputable shops that will do it? It would be greatly appreciated.

Also, this is not a thread to debate whether going catless is ethical or not so don’t even go there.

I actually tried that. Shop said “Ohio law doesn’t differentiate between daily driver and track car. Same penalty applies”. So annoying. I see so many people on here with downpipes on and no issues. If I had a lift I’d do it myself!

Other option, find a indy muffler shop. I've had a few done at places like these. Can also find a BMW mechanic who does work on the side. Lastly, letting them know that "cost isnt a concern " to get your car on the track. May pay more, but if you're having problems...

All good points. I’m trying to find someone local though if possible. Cost isn’t a concern but I’m not paying thousands of dollars for a simple install. If it comes to that I’ll just sell the pipes. Not going to be ridiculous for something so simple if I can help it

I was from Cleveland originally and just know that eCheck thing is just northern Ohio. I would call some shops down near Columbus. With Summit racing in that area and no eCheck there has to be someone.

Have you suggested an off the books cash deal with a local indie shop? No invoice/no receipt. Seems like a win-win for all parties. It's just a DP swap, not multi thousand dollar job.

Update.... still haven’t found anyone to do it for me. One shop agreed so I left my car there. Next day they called and said they couldn’t do it cause it was catless pipes even though I told them that the day I dropped it off. Annoyed as hell
