Talking My New M3 Competition Pack

(Sorry guys who also hang out on f30post, its just a blatant copy and paste)!

Ok, I've picked up my M3 CP today from Tony. Great handover and Tony is pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended!!
And a big thanks to teaston for posting up the "Insane M3 deal....." thread in the first place......

The car is fantastic!!!! Not really pushed it at all and just had a very steady drive back the north Wilts. Just getting to know the car better as there are obviously quite a few differences against the 335d!!

I'll do a much better write-up as I get used to it more but its so nice to be driving a brand new car, and an M3 at that.

One stand out thing I've noticed so far is how good those seats are very supportive indeed and IMO much better than the previous M Sport seats I've had. I've currenting got upper back issues but I've been fine so far in these seats.

I don't think the ride is too bad at all. Yes its a little more bumpier, but not by much at all. Always a good gauge is to ask the missus and she thinks its perfectly fine.

As I say, early days yet so I'll post more in the future, if anyone is interested, but all in all, I'm extremely pleased to have jumped ship to the M car camp.

Sorry the pics are not great, just grabbed a few while outside the dealers.

Thanks Guy!! It's been a great day for sure, my first M car. Really, really like it based on first impressions.

The most important question is: Was there a net for the cup holder tray?

No foggy, there is no net in the glove box. But they kindly left the holes to put one in yourself. Tight ass BMW! Saving themselves a princely sum of £18 per car.

Good job I managed to get my old one out of the 335d.
Will put it in when I get a sec......

I reset the trip comp of the way back home from the dealer and ended up with 29mpg, although I was driving very steady.
Went out tonight and tried a little Sport+ throttle .... now it's slowly dropping.....

But it is fun.

Wow absolutely fabulous looking machine. Glad you are enjoying it and taking it easy to start with. The Silverstone looks great with the 666s.

Fantastic looks great and nice to see you choose the correct colour (I see you wimped out on the seat colour though haha!). Don't think you will have any issues with the seats, I've only done a couple of 200 mile round trips but on both occasions I've found the seats to be nice and comfy, no aches or pains afterwards.

Keep an eye on the speedo, big numbers tend to appear quite easily!

If your MPG is only slowly dropping you need to work harder on your running in technique
