Is anyone doing the 2 Day M School in Oct?

I'm headed up to the Performance Center East Oct 13th & 14th and was wondering if anyone on the Forum will be going the same time? Has anyone here done it before?

I’m waiting for my invite. Being on the east coast I’m thinking it would be at the Performance Center east though I did request Thermal CA. How and when did you get your notification or package? I called BMWNA and they told me it’s in the works but could not give me an ETA date. How did things transpire with you if you don’t mind me asking?

My wife and I did the 2-Day M School at Performance Center East on October 11-12 (Sun & Mon) in 2015. It's a good time of the year to do this temperature-wise, but you could get rain (it dumped buckets on Saturday, the day before). Fortunately, the track was only damp the first morning and we had great weather for the rest of the school.

A couple of suggestions for things to do:

If you can arrive earlier on Friday, be sure to check out the BMW Zentrum (open Mon–Fri 9:30 am - 5:30 pm), and/or the BMW CCA Foundation Museum (open Mon–Fri 9 am - 5 pm), both very near the Performance Center. The Foundation Museum is currently having a special exhibit featuring the BMW 2002. Unfortunately, the Plant Tours are currently not available as the factory prepares for production of the X7.

Check out downtown Greenville on Friday and/or Saturday night, a really nice little town. When we were there it coincided with the annual Fall for Greenville festival, and lucky for you, it's being held the same weekend that you're there! Main Street will be closed for the festival and the street will be lined with beer and wine tents, food tents, and bands! It starts at 5:00 PM on Friday and lasts all weekend. We had a great time there on Friday night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

Just did it at Thermal. We got to do skid pad and times runs on the M5s. Was awesome.

That’s why I asked for Thermal! My local BMW service technician got to go and couldn’t say enough great things about the facility. I’m hoping that’s where they send me, and I don’t mind paying the airfare to CA. Still waiting for the packet.

No. You may be lucky and get an $849 credit to apply to M school when you get a new one or if you got the M Drivers package it's included.

I did Performance Center Delivery and they talked me into joining the CCA. That gets you a 15% discount on the schools. I initially booked the 1 day school but then I got the $800 credit for 1 day school and decided it was worth upgrading to the 2 Day M School which includes hotels as well.

Just got back from the 2 Day and it was truly amazing. I'm hooked! I highly recommend it to anyone. Now I gotta start saving for the Advanced School...

I've done the 2 day at Thermal and it was a BLAST! I just signed up for another 1 Day at the UDE with a discount, date TBD, but I can't wait! FYI BMWCCA has a discount and the UDE offers discounts.

I'm doing a half day M Track day in a few weeks at Thermal, I hope it is as engaging.
