Cup 2's on 20" Comp wheels
Anyone running cup 2's on the 20" 666 comp wheel?
What sizes and specs are you running to keep everything happy? Im on stock suspension also. And as a track/daily driver how do you find them? My car hardly sees rain most of the commutes are in dry weather. lots of diff specs on these.. N0, N1 K1 etc etc.. all have slightly differing sizes also. D |

I had cup 2s on stock 19inch 437s. Tried to replicate height of stock tires (for 19s it was 35F 30R) while going with more width front and rear.
Cup 2s transformed the car for me. Mine had full exhaust and tune so power was aggressive and came on quick. The new tires gave me infinite more grip (and with that increased confidence). I drove them in cold rain a couple times, no problems at all. Do it you'll love them.

Danny,
I am currently running them on the 666 with the below sizes f - 245/35/20 (NO Porsche spec) r - 285/30/20 (BMW M4 GTS spec) I found that this is the best option available for the M3 as the restriction is the rolling diameter of the front wheel. However, you have an option of running N1 (Porsche) too, but it gives you narrower contact patch. SC Quote:

Hi Danny,
I have had this exact setup since buying the car in 2018 and they have one track day (this Sunday) left in them. Have worked a treat. Am going to try for Goodyear Supersport R next - come in OE sizes and have read good reports. https://www.caradvice.com.au/752804/...port-r-review/

Thanks Rohan, I have heard the Goodyear's are quite good. Apparently getting the stock is quite difficult however. Let me know when your getting some and if you happen to come across them. I'll let you know if I come across them too! Cheers Ps where are you tracking this weekend? |

I have the Porsche Cup 2 N1s which are said to be slightly better over the older N0s in wet and dry.
If you are mainly dry weather then I'd also consider the Trofeo R which are apparently slightly faster than the Cup 2s. |

Cup 2's or any R spec tyres throw plenty of rocks up the side of your car and maximise stone chip potential on the street. They're also pretty noisy with limited grip until warmed up and I prefer not to use R specs on the street.
I run a set of Koya SF11's 19x9.5 front and 19x11 rear with 265/35x19 and 305/30x19 Cup 2's or Bridgestone RE71R's on the track. |

I've got Bridgestone S007A's on my street wheels and they're definitely grippier cold and throw a lot less rocks than the Cup2's. I wouldn't use them on the track but they're a good overall street tyre.
