People were saying these were sheep 335i's with the M badging, but one look at engine bay is all you need to see they're the genuine article.

Seriously would be a super cool move if they hocked the parts, but my guess is they'll either go back to BMW for research or be auctioned off to Hollywood car shops for parts/rebuilds/etc. for other movies.

Jezus christ already......we can read, but, we can also SEE the engine is indeed an s55 from an m. I highly doubt they would fake under the hood just for us bimmer freaks. The money is pocket change for these guys.

They went through the work to make it sound like an M3 in the video too... One, if not most, of them are M3s. You really think they spent the time and effort to save such little money per vehicle? I'm sure the ones that got "more wrecked" were more likely clones. Sounds like hard work to strip a 335 and put in new seats, hood, bumpers... wait, that's like M3 pricing already.

Come on.. Is it really that difficult to understand why a forum full of BMW enthusiasts would be upset at the sight of many damaged M3s, particularly those who cannot afford/justify buying one themselves? if you look at the first pic, the third car on the top row does not have m3 wheels. so most of them are probably shells.
