i feel bad for him.. totaled his car, made fun of across the internet.. i dont think it gets worse then that. People make mistakes everyone does. One less f80 on the road =/. He shouldnt have been trying to show off either way though.. there are always more expensive bigger and better cars no reason to drive like that.

she hit something in the parking garage and blamed it on water spilling in the trunk, shorting the battery, and giving the car a mind of its own causing the accident. https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1711130

He's lucky this happened right after the police left.

Education isn’t free.
Or should I say, free education sucks.

Paying respects to that F80, that thing is certainly totalled.
I have my M1 license and I'm super wary of fall, simply for the fact that leaves will absolutely destroy traction.

Apparently it’s getting fixed. Maybe out of pocket, maybe they bought it back from insurance company, or maybe the ratio to total the vehicle didn’t trigger total loss. We shall see I guess.

He wasn't trying to drift, he did what the red M4 did in the old video, spun first, spun second and stayed in it when it snapped, it just so happened that there was a street there, might have actually saved him from worse damage. I guess everyone got lucky, it would suck to see some people just watching or commuting get hurt.

He didn't counter steer in the second slide. Look closely and his wheels are pointed straight at the tree.

Not a good way to get famous...
I bet his left rear tire was also 1.5PSI too much.

No one is. But that was a very recoverable slow slide, someone with the experience level that he claimed he had should have easily caught it. And I don't consider everyone that "frequents the track" to be "experienced" either...
