From the advice I have been given you would like one with flex joints for sure. The rest is gravy.

“For sure”? The only real benefit to flex joints is mitigating metal fatigue from engine movement and vibration; However, I don’t hear a lot about broken down pipes on this car.

If you track your car, get the swain-coated active autowerke downpipe for the best performance.

Performance is the same for non-track cars

I didn't opt for the AA coated pipe but looking forward to doing the coating locally to the pipe I did get. Is there anything specific I should know about the process?

Thanks

I bought VRSF originally. Noticed ever so slight vibration in the cabin. Decided to get the AA with flex joints and bracket— and boom! The vibration went away.

Either click on my name or search for my thread. You'll see it.

I got a local shop to coat my pipes with CeraKote glacier black 2000F ceramic coating. Cost was about a Benjamin for the whole job including surface prep. Took a week. Worth it.

I don't think you will notice much difference in power between all the brands you have posted. However, we offer Catless S55 Downpipes with flex at a fraction of the price of the others mentioned.

Non-flex downpipes have been on the market since this platform was released (and ended) without any issues.
