Which battery charger to use during flashing tune

Does it need to be lithium safe?
I've read some people using conventional chargers.
Don't want to damage the expensive battery.

If flashing with BM3 you really don't need a battery charger just make sure that your battery is fully charged. Switching between maps takes approximately 30 seconds. Full flash approximately 2 minutes. Also make sure to turn off headlights, daylight running lights and ac/heater.

That said this charger has been recommended by others.

I'm not sure why some tunes require the use of a charger. It's completely unnecessary with our system, and thousands of customers around the world have flashed first shot, with zero issues.

If you plan on using one, it's definitely suggested that it be Li-Ion compatible. That battery is not cheap
