Considering a GTS hood. Will it be difficult to color match BSM on a 2015?

I had a bumper colour matched at BMW Bodyshop and it was like new (especially after being polished and PPF wrapped). Not a hard colour to match the team said (unlike MW or AW).

Depends on your standards obviously but sometimes a little orange peal effect can help hide any mismatching and over time can mask some light scratching, alternatively if you go the full 9 yards and get your paint wet sanded and polished to mirror finish after spraying you'll forever see tiny scratches appearing but it'll look like a concourse car...

I'm not very familiar with whole paint process. I wouldn't take the plunge if it was a hard color to match also considering the age of my car.

Thanks

Reputable shop can account for aging in the colour (if any). Get a few quotes and maybe ask to see some work they've done. Get it done at a BMW approved shop should also give you confidence that they have all the right manuals and processes around BMW bodywork.

3M Tape, Series 5962 to be exact. It took me three times to find the correct tape when I was installing the M-Performance spoiler. The 5962 is the correct thickness for the CS spoiler as well as the stuff that came with the CS spoiler is the same thickness (.062"). I'll snap some photos of my tape layout and post em up once I get around to installing the spoiler.
