This is another thing I don't understand. VTT is local to me and they quoted me $1000 for the spline lock labor so it comes down to $1800 in total. Huge difference... However, I can't decide on what to do as most people seem to go with either MaxPSI or Gintani.

Here’s another problem I have with this ok let’s say
I say Fuck it let me spend the 5k to fix it and what if It fails and I bend valves and destroy my motor what Am I gonna tell the dealer ooo I had somebody open my motor up the change something better off letting it Spin so I can get a replacement under factory warranty |

They quite 10 hours...that's awesome. Both Autotalent and EAS (two very respected shops) found it took 20 hours independent of each other. If VTT will do it for 10 hours, Go for it |

I think the spline lock idea is genius and this should work very very well. I'd take this over drilling any day .
I actually would like to have this done but I need to find a shop in Germany that can do it. And that speaks english. |
