► Basic Performance's BMW F80 M3 ClubSport on EC-7R Forged Wheels

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com

F80 M3 on Brushed Clear EC-7Rs

APEX Authorized Dealer, Basic Performance (@basicperformance_korea on Instagram), continues to spread motorsports culture in South Korea. Their shop F80 M3 CS is the ultimate dual duty street and track car featuring industry-leading parts such as a Brembo 380mm brake kit, Ohlins Custom Road & Track dampers, Akrapovic exhaust and more. Finding a set of lightweight 18″ track wheels that would clear those massive brakes is not an easy task, but this is where APEX excels. Our new 18″ forged wheels provide plenty of clearance for the brakes and have a number of other benefits and features designed for track use such as paintless knurled beads on the barrel that keeps the knurling sharp to reduce unwanted tire slippage during hard braking. The Basic Performance team chose the EC-7R design in a new premium Brushed Clear finish. The way these wheels pop on this machine is extraordinary. Enjoy the photos below of the freshly unboxed wheels and mounted on the M3 CS.

I have to ask - is this vehicle San Marino Blue (since one of the mods is Autotechnik Shift Paddle in San Marino Blue by iND)?

Gorgeous.

Perfect assortment: Akrapovic DP and exhaust, Brembo brakes. What a build ...

Love it! Shame that a 15mm spacer is needed in the front for a tack setup though.

What's the difference between the schirmer wing and GTS wing as far as the actual aero foil is concerned?

Nice build...

Yes it is identical. However, in Korea, M4cs and M3cs were imported without the CS hood due to vehicle regulations. Something to do with pedestrian safety I heard. Ridiculous? I know. So they came with "normal" hoods. So we had to purchase the GTS hood separately and that is why it is on the mod list.

Thank you! Would you be surprised to know that a M4 GT4 uses huge spacers up front?

Always wonder why these big builds go with a trash IC like CSF with no proof, instead of something like Wagoner with proven superior cooling over OE 🤷🏼*♀️

If you paid anything close to retail that was as expensive upgrade. Worth it tho in a build like this given the lower weight and center of gravity, and additional cooling and downforce. Would love to see the ring lap times in this bad ass 4 door sedan. Nice build

Tell me, how do you like the SMB so far? I've got a choice of that or Melbourne Red, but leaning your way. Anything about the auto as a DD would be a huge help, thanks.

Awesome. Don’t even want to know how much a CS would cost in Asia.
