Can any F80 guys tell me the differences between the mirrors pictured. I bought m3 mirrors and they look different from where it mounts to the car.

You've purchased a M3 drivers side mirror and your M4 passenger side mirror. Take a close look at picture #4 that you posted. After a week, seems no one else on Bimmerpost could identify the difference for you. Unfortunately M4 and M3 mirrors attach differently. I only know because @ik6speed post multiple times about unscrupulous sellers who would advertise mirrors that fit M3 and M4 or F30 and F32 when those do not exists.
He's banned now so I'm sure you won't be the last to make this mistake, sorry buddy.

Not sure, but Bimmerpost needed him for stuff like this that no one is aware of. I've personally avoided mistakes due to his postings.

Nice observation but honestly, if you purchasing used parts for your vehicle, that doesn't match the original part numbers & revision code, to a T and without doing some prior research on its comparability, it shouldn't be that surprising if you ultimately ends up with the wrong part.

That's a rookie mistake, if that's the path you choose.

Good info to know. I have a set for sale that was from an f80 and also says f80 on the barcode sticker. I thought they were cross compatible between f8x and f3x. So the mirrors I have will only work on f80 and f30? Not f82, f83, f32, f33 and f37?

No it sure if the stickers mean anything because even though it seems I have one m3 and one m4 mirror both have stickers that show f80 on them.

I got a F30 N55 LSD last year while still in stock for $500 because I did my own research and didn't listen to your numerous posts that it wouldn't work on an x drive. Glad I ignored you and did my own research. Many people let you talk them out of it.

Guess I didn't choose the path of a rookie.

So what you want, a cookie?

It wasn't listed available option of Xdrives and no one had personally confirmed it would work, on that particular vehicle.

I was merely trying to save you the trouble and to look before your leap, not take away your sunshine. Sorry :

God, there is always some jerk here, with nothing meaningful to contribute but stirring up some unnecessary shit.

actually BMW confirmed it worked. You just didn't want to admit you were wrong.

Seems you are the person stirring up the misinformation here

I read all the posts here in an impartial manner on this topic and I came to the conclusion that you were wrong. It seems now that you're both mad and wrong and probably won't admit either.

Yep, as I guessed in my prior post, I was correct, you are still mad -- 2 years later.
