Car market is getting hammered due to Coronies. This plus memorial day is going to be great for buyers.

I think the memorial day sale will be a great gauge for most dealerships about how to manage the remainder of their lots as the sometimes daunting June 30, end of Q2, allotment date rapidly approaches.
I see prices dropping dramatically, and most dealerships will just try to stay solvent on the year, limiting their staff and action to return customers and clients in particular sectors. |

It does not matter what day of the year it is. Any Memorial Day sales events are pure marketing. Read this: https://leasehackr.com/blog/2019/11/...ally-a-gimmick
For the used market, dealers are not going to take a bath on a used car for a one day "sale". If the car is priced correctly, there is no reason to discount it. As for new cars, inventory is starting to run thin across every model. Plus with the M4 production stopping and the new gen not announced yet, there is still a lot of time for dealers to sell F8x M4s.

Just me personally, but I would never even consider a rental car, especially if it is something high performance.
Dealerships make their money on used cars. Regardless of any sale as mentioned above, they will still make money on the vehicles they sell. |

That's a myth. Have a friend in the business and two trying to pick up used M4/RS7. Cars, at least, used are selling. And fast.

Thats how we do it in the US. We honor those who served with retail sales.
Being USMC veteran, i never understood the whole.memorial day sales weekend. Not bashing anyone here. Just my thoughts. |

I especially enjoy the sales on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We celebrate the life and death of the man by NO PAYMENTS FOR 72 MONTHS ON A NEW MATTRESS.
