Trade: Painted Black 666M wheels for OEM silver 666M wheels

Hello Everyone!

Just bought an F80 and wanted to see if anyone would trade their set of OEM finished 666M wheels (silver color) for the black one the previous owner had professionally done on the car.

-0 curb rashes
-Must be local to the Bay Area, CA

Hopefully lady luck is on my side and someone is willing to trade

Attached is the link to the picture of the front with the wheels

And yes, I did remove the decal

1) wrong section, this should go in the fs section
2) you may want some more and better pics. If I was interested and I’m not, I would want to see side shots of the car with the wheels and then up close condition pics. Looks like a flat black repaint, wonder if it was professional (you would hope)

That really looks like plasti dip, check. that would solve your issue as you could peel it off pretty easily and get the chrome finish.

My friend almost bought new chrome trim pieces all over his car thinking it had matte black paint until I told him it looks like plasti dip and it peeled right off when I tried to.

The PO of my car had the wheels professionally painted a nice gloss black, which I actually like a lot. I've always thought matte black wheels just looks like years of brake dust caked on.
