APEX | M4 Track Car on Forged 18" VS-5RS Sprint™ Line Wheels

Sakhir Orange M4 Track Car | Featuring APEX 18” VS-5RS Sprint™ Line Wheels

Earlier this year we were excited to get a sample set of our brand new forged VS-5RS wheels on our friend Blake’s F82 M4 track car. These wheels are leading the charge for our Sprint™ Line designs in 5x120 BMW fitments and are the lightest wheels we’ve ever made. Their weight was a massive point of focus for us, but equally as important was being able to offer chassis-specific widths and offsets engineered for the F8X M3 and M4 community.

These wheels are our first forged BMW wheels that are 11 inches wide and will be available in our popular staggered 9.5” ET22/10” ET25 front and 11” ET44 rear fitments in 18” and 19” diameters. Changes to our forging processes and the development of all new motorsports blanks have given us the freedom to engineer 11” forged wheels, but 11”s are just the beginning. We plan to push our BMW fitments to the limits with the ability to go up to 13”s wide and hope to see enthusiasts push the limits of these wheels on track. Once those limits are exceeded, our brand new Sprint™ Spec Inner Lip provides more protection than ever before from impacts and off track excursions lap after lap.

Our second customer feature thread is live! This new thread focuses on a mildly lowered F80 with an OEM+ setup on our VS-5RS wheels.

It's only Brushed Clear, but we've got this:

Wheels and Tires:

APEX VS-5RS in Brushed Clear
19x10” ET25 w/ 275/30-19 Michelin PS4S
19x11” ET44 w/ 305/30-19 Michelin PS4S

APEX EC-7RS in Brushed Clear
19x10” ET25 w/ 275/30-19 Michelin PS4S
19x11” ET44 w/ 305/30-19 Michelin PS4S

Suspension:

MCS 1Way NR coilovers
Ground Control camber plates
5in 2.25" Front spring w/ helper
SPL Front Arms (minus lower arm)
SPL rear control arms (all replaced)

Brakes:

GiroDisc oversized front rotors

Alignment:

Front: -3.8° camber / 0° toe
Rear: -1.9° camber / 4mm toe in

We're still working on editing and uploading the photos, but we only have a few days left in the 19" Group buy so if you are after those wheels, I would pledge before it ends on the 5th.

Yes, that should be totally fine. The most common factory wheel setup for these cars is 19x9 ET29 front and 19x10 ET40 rear. If the set you're looking at are APEX's in those widths and offsets (VS-5RS) or OE M3/4 wheels, they shouldn't have any clearance issues.
