disappointed so far in the m4. hopefully it will have a better presence in person. so far the m6 looks way way better, as does the new m3

thanks for sharing but the car isn't well presented. I mean the photos must have been taken with a potato and the car is just filthy

Bland bland bland. E92 so much more aggressive. Basically you need to put about 20k into this car once you buy it. Keeping my e92 and getting used GT3. Shame.

It's okay, but not as visually compelling as the new M3. The M4 looks like the older M6 in those photos. Ehhhh, pass!

I agree, not feeling it either. The softer curves on the hips of the M4 makes it look feminine. The M3 looks meaner.

I've found that the M4 will need just the right color for it to look appealing (..i.e..YMB....the coupe in that color looked good despite still not looking as aggressive and pleasing to the eye as the M3). Understated colors will really make this car look like a normal 4.

Hope they offer a blackout grill kit for the M3/M4. The concept looked MUCH better with it.

Looks like an M-Sport 435... Still...

In the pictures it just doesn't look aggressive because of the seamless fenders.

Nice to see its getting the ladies though haha

Not trying to steal the thread, or anything, but, your comment is interesting - what is it about Germans that makes you think they will gravitate to dark colors? I am of the opinion car colors reflect personality characteristics.

Agreed. It needs a brighter colour.

Have we seen an uncamouflaged M3 in a dark colour?

I definitely agree. With the E92's the coupe was far more aggressive than the saloon. It's kind of odd though because the M4 looked great in the professional photo's and now not so much on the street. Looks like the current M3 will be the one wearing the pants this time around.

I don't know what it is... but it is a fact that most Germans either buy a silver car or a dark color car. When I have toured various factories over here... they say the same thing. I remember MB saying that over 60% of their production is in black and about 18% in silver. Then that 22% is all the "other" colors they offer.

You know all German Taxi's are painted that beige color. About ten years ago when wrap jobs became more common place... the Taxi owners figured out they could order a dark color car or a silver one(!) and wrap the taxi in that beige wrap... then when the time came to sell their taxi... people would buy them! No one wants a beige car, not even a cheap used car in beige! lol This is why when you see a bunch of Taxi's parked at an airport or train station - the driver has removed one bumper or cover of the wrap - to expose the original color. So he or she can identify his car parked among the many taxi's! lol

Dark color cars sell over here in Germany. No one drives a red or yellow car. Those are for the fire dept or ambulance services. lol Its dark blues and blacks and silver cars for Deutschland.
