Is this the best offset for 19" RZ05? Also where are people getting these from?

“Best” depends on many factors like tire size, amt of lowering, track vs street, running camber plates or not, etc.

I would say 19x9.5 +20 and 19x11 +40 rims are a very good all around size that lets you run 255 to 275 front tires and 275 to 295 rear tires without much concern.

If you want to go wider rear tires you will need to go wider on rim width and higher offsets. If you want to have a rim with deeper concavity or a deeper lip you would need to get more aggressive with offsets and width.

Just depends on what you are trying to achieve - looks, handling, drag racing, winter driving, how low you want to go, etc.

Can’t go wrong with those sizes though. Very versatile and a safe all around set up.

That's a good way to put it. Could I run a 305 on an 11 at 40mm of offset?

That's my car on week 1 of ownership. Those tires are 305/30/19 Bridgestone RE11 on a 19x11 et40 wheel. 305/30 fits no problem on that wheel size.

Any forum guys or vendors have experience with BC FORGED RZ05, F- 20x9.5 ET 25 and R- 20x12 ET50. Tires 255/30/20 and 315/25/20

Question - does anyone have this set up? If so, can you comment on it?
Is this a good fitment? - pics?

Would a 295/30/20 be a better rear tire size option?

Thank you!!

I don't have personal experience w/ your set up, but DanMpower ran a similar set up and had no issues: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1739599

If you are buying these rims/tires used, you may want to add a 5 to 10mm spacer up front to get a more flush look. Rears should be fine.

Shout out to @x.shell for the great advice on offsets, tire sizes, wheel finishes, etc. Your advice was spot on! Perfect fitment with no rubbing at all and without any fender mods or camber adjustments. Also, thanks Mojoman for verifying the rear clearance and taking pictures of your set up for me.

The brushed grey finish is not on their website yet. I saw it first on x.shell's MLE52s. It changes color from light grey to dark grey depending on the lighting. When low golden sunlight hits it, it gets a hint of bronze. I wanted something lighter than dark brushed and this looks about right to me. I took a few close up pictures to try to show the changing color.

Michelin PS4S tires are freaking awesome. I was worried about harsh ride quality going from 19s on 35 series tires to 20" rims on 30 series tires. Well, these 20" Michelins feel great. I can't tell the diff in ride quality between these and my 19s... and they're pumped up to 36 psi vs. the 32 psi I have my 19s set at. The 295s provide noticeably more grip than my 285s.

All the pictures are basically how the car currently sits. I know it's not slammed. I already scrape my Lightweight front lip on my driveway even at this height. However, the last picture is photoshop lowered and slightly raked a bit just to see what my car would look like if I dropped it as low as many of you do.
Stunning wheels! Are those the offsets you recommend for a max lip profile? That's the look I'm going for.

Thanks! You can get a bit more lip if you go with an 11.5” rear rim with +37 offset but you may have to do some slight grinding of the rear edge where bumper meets the body. With my set up, there’s zero rubbing but not quite at max lip.

Check out x.shell’s set up in the signature wheels thread for max lip. It’s amazingly deep!

Hit up x.shell on PM. He gave me great advice on tire and rim sizes. He’s been through lots of sets of rims/tires.

Now that's deep! While that's the most visually appealing, I want to avoid modifying the fender to make that beast fit. So I think your setup is perfect for me. Do you think you'd rub if you lowered it a bit more like your last pic? I'm running emd springs which sits a bit lower.

It shouldn't rub even if you're lowered more than me. I've driven with 4 people in the car a lot plus I have a good 50-60 lbs of aftermarket stereo amps and subwoofer box way in the back of the trunk and it has never rubbed. I've also checked tire/rear qtr panel clearance when I raised the front of the car and confirmed that even with tire tucking in the rear opposite side, there's still no contact between the tire and rear bumper/qtr panel.

This is where the point of contact would be. There's still about a index finger's clearance space btw tire and that little protruding piece where the rear bumper meets the metal part of the rear qtr panel:

Hi there! I'm looking for the total exact wheel as yours, do you have a few more pictures to share? And also would like to know the offset (ET). Really appreciate it.

The tires are Michelin PSS 265/30/20 in front and 285/30/20 in the rear, absolutely no rubbing.

I actually wanted 295/30/20s in the rear, but due to a miscommunication and the fact I did not closely look over the invoice (was caught up making sure the wheel specs were right) I got 285s. There is plenty of room for 295s, so I would recommend that size, and it will be what I will get when the time comes to replace.
