Help! Coding IN edc

F82 owner here and I just installed the stock EDC struts back into the car (removed aftermarket coilovers). Everything is plugged in, module in the trunk is plugged in, and I connected to the car to code in 2VF on esys to restore the EDC and to my surprise 2VF still existed and hadn’t been coded out. Any ideas how else the previous owner could have coded out the EDC without deleting 2VF?? I’m looking for what I need add/restore in the coding for the car to recognize the EDC again.

You don't need to delete 2VF from FA stored in VCM to code out EDC.
FA was just modified for coding and not saved in VCM.

Get help from Kubax. Great guy!
Alex@Alpine can help too. Also great.

You could get all your coding checked and set in one quick shot. Reasonably priced!

You are just seeing the option because it is customary to not write changes from VO coding to the VCM. If you check the ecu software and settings themselves, you will see the changes.

Redoing the VO coding with with 2VF present will add EDC again. There is a sequence of ECUs that need updated so your buttons and kombi interfaces get the change. Search for diy to add edc or use the coders mentioned above. I used kubax86 for full screen CarPlay before and the experience was great.
