Stg 1 is like OEM+ or the way the car should have performed when delivered. Yes you can run it all day long on all stock hardware

Yes, it's because of the gas quality in CA.

2019 M2: Stage 1 93-Octane tune
2019 M4: Stage 1 93-Octane tune

Both these cars see a lot of track abuse tuned, warranty?
They get taken to my local BMW dealer for free maintenance and warranty issues.

These two S55 M’s as well as my 2015 M4, have seen a lot of track abuse and have never seen an issue from tracking and hard driving. I am careful and have never driven the DCT’s in auto mode, so I only down shift manually with smooth throttle.

Has anyone had any misfires, had to replace spark plugs (or did you in conjunction with tune?) as that’s only real issue that I have (rarely) seen come up

I'm reading people say put some e85 1 gallon on a stage 1 in California. Any effect on our engine or parts if I do that.

Yes new plugs are a good idea. I went ngk step colder plugs, because ptf recommend it, but on my 435i I ran stock plugs at full stage 2 93 oct.

I think adding just a gallon when you fill up is pretty safe. Never had any issues previously, nor have I read of any. Unless you start to add too much. Otherwise it makes for great timing in my experience.

Change the spark plugs to the recommended one from BM3 site and gap them at .020, it'll run way better.
