I dont know how I feel about this video. It's cute that hes letting his daughter drive his M3 on her 16th birthday. I just dont get why people have to share this type of thing on the internet. Does the dude realize hes showing where his cute daughter goes to school at the expense of being internet famous? At least we know the school security is on point. But yea.. total overshare.

Because we live in an age when people feel that if they take a dump, then everyone wants to hear about it on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc., etc.

"Play time" with that C63S at the beginning is how bad accidents happen. Not a great example for the kids...

This why I have a NO social media rule.

Never had Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc etc... Never will

I still speak with my REAL friends and have ZERO need to be friends with Home Depot or have 500 fake Facebook "friends". It's laughable and stupid

Two anonymous BMW forums are the extent of my online presence.

Why people post what they ate for dinner or when they took a dump is beyond ridiculous

I could be wrong...but I'm guessing OP is the Dad here. I do agree with some of these comments...this is not the best example of how to whore out your child for YouTube views.

Note to Video creator: there are way more efficient (I.e. "better") ways to gain YouTube views than this click bait bs at the expense of your 16 y/o daughters privacy...but to each their own I guess.

I know pops getting some flak here, but I don't think this video was done with bad intent..just poor judgement.

Anyways, 1) nice car 2) seems like a nice kid 3) very trusting Dad

I'm in the same boat. Had a Facebook in the old days when you had to be invited to join, deleted it long before all the controversies. Never looked back, and realized how much more free time I had to do other things. Just wasn't right for me.

That being said, Instagram really opened up my eyes to online car culture, it's probably the best place to go to for satisfying the car itch. I just created an anonymous car type account and followed a few hundred car modding related accounts and it makes the car community feel much bigger than what you have access too on a regular basis. Some of the builds out there are so nuts, and I'd never know about them otherwise. A local car show/meet just doesn't compare. But I agree with you about a personal account - so dumb. I just post my cars/updates to contribute to the IG community that I'm consuming so much content from. I think IG is the perfect "social media" platform for car culture. But absolutely no personal account for me.

I hear you and I'm sure I'm "missing" a few things by not being apart of the social media world but I'm ok with it. My wife has Facebook but rarely uses it and doesn't post anything about our lives, trips we take, anything to do with our newborn son etc etc.....we do the things we do for US not to impress others or create some bullshit online facade. I'm sure I would enjoy the car culture aspect of Instagram but it's best if I stay away.

My wife and I do a ton of fun shit but only a few people know about it. Ski, Scuba, Travel (Euro Delivery), nice cars, home etc etc...We like it this way better

Ill jump on board in complete agreement of this bizarre overshare of this guys 16yo daughter. People are so strange and narcissistic now with the need to share every intimate detail on social media. I would never in a million years put something like this out there with my kids in it. But then again, I am not self centered and egotistical enough to think that anyone would give a sh*t about something I post on youtube.

I think it's insane that he is teaching a 16 yr old how to drive stick in heavy traffic. Most sane people take their kids to an empty parking lot to learn first before unleashing them on the road, let alone in heavy traffic and around kids walking out of school.

It's quite evident that OP wants to show off and how stupid of him to let his daughter get behind the wheel inside the school when she has no clue how to drive a manual car and one mistake here and there could lead to a fatal accident.

It's awesome that he is spending time with his daughter. However, I would never feel the need to film it and have the world watch it. Partly because I don't feel the need to seek approval or views from strangers, but mostly for my privacy. One has to question his motives—is this for "likes" and ultimately popularity and the superficial things that come with it on social media, or is this for the benefit of his relationship with his daughter? Only he can answer that.

Nope.

The guy's enjoying time teaching his daughter how to drive manual, while she's enjoying time being seen driving something other than a Camry. So fucking what.
