What are you guys doing for sensors on aftermarket wheels? Im looking for recommendations since I don't want to pull my oem sensors off my 666m wheels.

I have the 2018 as well and I think Ebay Listings didn't update the year.

Check realoem and see if the TPMS' for your VIN were used for pre-18. Or, email the seller.

Seller contacted me before shipping out the TPMS and confirmed that this will work for 2018 M3.

We sell HUF, they come in OEM silver or black. Nearly 1/3 the cost of OEM (retail for retail)

Need some help guys. As recommended by others here, I went with the HUF brand above. The second day driving on my new wheels, I got the TPMS error. I've reset it and tried to let it recalibrate multiple times now, but it never moves beyond 0%.

Any idea? Everything I've looked up says it must be the wrong sensors, but I'm using what many others have used here with no issue.

Hey Bud, did you just have the put the TPMS on the rim and then reset the sensors through the iDrive? Or did the installer have to "Awake" your sensor and then program it to your car?

TIA!!

TPMS D0T COM - their HUF sensors are solid. Our customers and us personally never have issues of it connecting to the car. All pre-programmed and solid fit. From our McLaren 720S to Tesla Model track car, all run HUF sensors.

OEM - I debated going in a different direction but in my opinion, the + cost is well worth the peace of mind.

New TPMS on aftermarket wheels

Hello!
Apologies in advance as I'm sure this question has been asked, but I cannot find a direct answer.
Is there any coding when adding a new set of TPMS sensors the the aftermarket wheels? Do the sensors themselves require a coding?

or

Is this process of resetting the new TPMS sensors on the aftermarket wheels, as simple as running a reset once they are mounted?

these are the sensors I bought:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks for the help ya'll!

No special coding, just reset in the idrive screen and drive. Those sensors are a great deal. I'm curious to hear if they end up working well for you.
