Has anyone ran their BM stage 1 vs a JB4 map 1 car Or a BM stage 2 vs JB4 map 2?

Looks good guys!

With an E40+ mix, you guys should be able to pick up a good bit more power, safely.

You'd obviously have to adjust the fuel scalers for it (and/or stack with the JB4 for even more headroom) and also should be able to add a few more degs of timing at same boost levels.

The additional ethanol will also help allow more top-end power after Peak VE.

Torque looks great, even on pump and will easily overpower the stock wheels/tires in 3rd gear.

The 6MT car is awaiting on an intake to arrive from SSR Performance. Not sure yet what the customer will end up going with exhaust wise from the downpipes back or if they will on this car.

We're sure once more of these are out there more comparisons will come. Plenty of JB dynos out there given its been for quite a while now.

Flash tunes as well as 'front end' flashes and backend piggybacks work well. Devil's in the details and its the overall setup that makes the most consistent power without knock that wins races at the end of the day.

Thanks Cary appreciate it. We're doing quite a bit of testing with E85 and blends right now. Fuel scalar wise, we simply started with the Stage 2 93 OTS map we demonstrated here, rescaled for about E40-E50 and got back to work. We're thinking possibly 24-26psi for an OTS with no changes to ignition timing but we'll see if the turbos really do anything worthwhile pushing given they're becoming pretty hot hairdryers at that point. The stock air to water intercooler on the S55 is absolutely phenomenal, leaps and bounds better than any air to air N54 aftermarket upgrade we've ever gotten a chance to tune.

Car gets squirmy in 4th. 3rd is traction light on 295s on this 6MT car, really really fun to drive with instant torque/throttle response

Would it work well for 91-92 octane with catless downpipes and midpipes or it will be giving error codes ? Do you have a OTS map for this kind of fuel?

Drove my car to work today in very crisp cold temperatures. Third gear is a nightmare on stock 275 rubber, cannot put the power down. The blacktop is getting colder here in Canada which is making it scary to drive this car without any traction control. The throttle response on the BM3 stage 2 tune is just spectacular, so crisp and instantaneous. Going to have to hibernate the car soon and come back in spring with 305 Nittos on the back.

Yes absolutely. We have the 91 as well as the ACN 91 (worse than typical 91) maps ready.

I know dynos can't be compared but this tune is gaining 106 whp and 152 wtq over stock on 93 octane?

That's pretty freaking impressive if JB4 map 2 is only gaining 85 whp 92 wtq over stock with an E30 mix!

^^That's the power of a competent tune WITH timing, knock and vanos control as oppose to just a piggyback.
