alignment and electric power steering calibration

Hi guys.

first time F80 owner.
does anyone know if there's any specific step that needs to be taken when doing an alignment?
specifically is there any calibration procedure needed for the electric power steering system.

No special steps are necessary for the steering after alignment.

The instructions say to weight the car, but I've never seen anyone actually do that.
