Right price for a used M4 GTS

I recently sold a 1962 Corvette on BaT and my observation is that we are at the top of a collector car market. The age of the M4 GTS brings it to the collector market so the current buyers are looking to not miss on continued appreciation. There is no looking back, the weak of heart original speculators looking to make a quick buck are regretting their haircut, the long term enthusiast is getting the reward of patience. The M4 GTS is close to a bespoke BMW car with few other examples in the last 10 years.

It is still listed at Motorcars Classics, even on their website, as of 4/10/2021

~1200 mile car sold at Manheim in CA 2 weeks ago for just $74.9k. Decent condition rating (3.9) so not sure what happened there.

That said, there are only 3 cars under $100k on Cargurus, the cheapest of which is $92,900.

2 additional private party cars at $90k and $95k on Autotrader, but otherwise, every M4 GTS currently for sale has a 1 at the start of the price.

Wonder what my super high mileage car is worth at this point - $70k to 75k maybe?

40,800. I bought an RS4 to sub in as a part-time daily to keep miles off, but of course it needed about $7k in work straight off the bat, so the GTS has been taking the brunt of the miles.

Cheapest on Cars.com is the one in Miami area, 2,600 miles, $99,794. Been sitting around for a while, but they increased list price ~5% in the past week or two.

The thing about selling at the top of the market is that you're also buying its replacement at the top of the market. Unless you're ok having one less special car, and planning to take the money and run
