I had the same issue, dealer I took my car to get oil change to for sure stripped my bolt, did not want to claim responsibility tried to bill me $3900 for new oil pan + installation.

Told them to fuck off. Took it to another dealership where my buddy works and he re-tapped it with bigger drill/bolt and put a washer in between. So far no leaks and its been a month at least.

Yes they work. Take your time with the repair. I am 162k about 120k since the timesert no leaks. You might have a problem because they already put In a oversized plug in. Good luck!

162k miles on a 2016 F82? That's awesome! Any other out of the ordinary repairs you had to do to your car in 162K miles? Also, is your car tuned or stock? Thanks.
