Anyone know where I can find a chassis mounted splitter like this one?

I wish the video I grabbed this from listed the name of this front splitter -but it didn’t. Does anyone know the name of this chassis mounted splitter or one just as robust as this one?

Thanks in advance.

Turner motorsport has one but its carbon fiber. I wish someone was available from something that does not break

Whatever happened to that guy? He had a pretty well documented track F82 but then disappeared...

also, back on topic, couldn't you just make one like that?

I wouldn’t know where to begin on that project. 😂

www.mfrengineering.com has one on their F80, but just about any custom fabrication shop can build this for you.

Jeez, paired with a $9,000 front bumper.

The splitter that Corsa did in that photo is a custom chassis mounted splitter; I asked them. Most every splitter that requires chassis mounting is going to take some DIYing, even if you find a source for the actual splitter.

As the price of F8Xs come down, more track enthusiasts will adopt this car for their track adventures. This in turn will cause more race shops to develop ready-made kits for a chassis mounted splitter. They'll still be pricey.

If you only care about function, you can find most everything you need to do a chassis mounted splitter at Home Depot.

So...I’ve actually been in communication with Richard from MFR. He was kind enough to send over a couple pics of different variants of their front splitter. Definitely found what I’m looking for. Thanks!

Try Racebred Components for a splitter blade, they only need your bumper/lip trace.

AJ Hartman Aero or Klaus Composites can make you a nice cf splitter

You will need to source a mounting bracket solution yourself and mate these splitters to a lip that plugs our lower front bumper holes (or routes that air for brake ducting)

Took some time. But finally got these pieces together.

So excited.

That looks pretty clever, did you use some kind of a 90° arm to mount to the crash bar?

Running it through the hex mesh is a smart move.

Spot on.
Took several measurements and refitting the bumper to make sure the alignment was correct.
