Door Ambient lighting fix ?

So I just got my car and I noticed you can get the little strips on Amazon to make the ambient lights on the door panels look brighter. Well my driver side is good but the passenger side, most of the light is out. Setting is max out on brightness. It’s just basically dead on the passenger side.

Anyone have a video on how to replace the light ?

No, But I do know that the door panel will have to be removed, and a new light strip will need to be reinstalled.

I found a video where I can remove the door panel and there’s this plastic square tab where the led circuit board is in. This German site sells super bright led circuits to replace with the dim stock ones. That will make it brighter , especially with the strips installed from eBay/amazon

Benzinfabrik is the German company and I have their blue/white ambient lighting LED modules installed. Looks great and plug n play. We'll worth the upgrade! Others on the F30 forum have used their products as well and everyone seems to be happy campers.

I actually got their LED but the issue is my lighting strip needs to be replaced because only the beginning part lights up , the rest doesn’t

The clear plastic tube that diffuses the light is probably broken. You can buy a new one and replace it if that's the root issue.
