Lol. I just emailed them yesterday about an unrelated issue, and at the end of the email, I threw in there just for fun "Do you have any idea when you'll release the map-switching-on-the-fly feature for the S55? Everyone on bimmerpost is anxiously awaiting it!"

They replied: "We are working on it. No ETA at this time"

So unless they're working super fast, I have a feeling it'll be quite a bit longer than "two more weeks" or "coming soon"

There must be issues with the software this has imminent for ages now.
I am really looking forward to it being released but I would rather they get it right than cause issues with my car tbh !

Anyone know if the Antilag/2step be activated to build boost from a stand still for a launch? Say for at the line on a drag strip?

Please correct me if Im wrong, but....

If you go into your maps, select a map, then "custom rom convert". It looks like it makes a copy of that map with antilag active. I did it with my ots stg 1 map and it created a new Rom stating it has antilag active. I haven't tested this yet in my car tho. literally was just poking around seeing whats different with the update

Edit: my concern is I think it also makes map switching active and I have no idea which map is which then. I dont see any settings for antilag or map selections in the custom Rom

I was able to download it to my tunes but I bought access to all maps when I originally purchased it.

Log on to the app on your computer and open your custom map and there's an option to convert it to CustomROM and then you'll get all the features!

Other guys like myself with custom tunes (Paul, Cary, etc)...do we need to go back to OTS to get the new features? Or can we adjust like we do burbles and cold start?

There's nothing in the config section for this. See my above posts for converting to custom rom

I think I get what you're saying. Based on what they've said for the past 8 months there should be a way to customize the 4 slots to your liking so you know what map is in each slot. I just don't know how to do that yet

We're on the same page now and that's exactly what I'm saying is making me hesitant. I don't see anywhere to select which are which. I'll be home shortly and will report back after busting out the enet

I think I get what you're saying. Based on what they've said for the past 8 months there should be a way to customize the 4 slots to your liking so you know what map is in each slot. I just don't know how to do that yet

I don't think you can not that I can see anyway I have a custom f80 Paul map so I have asked if they can set the maps I want
