I thought the new 4er's front will not resemble the F30 in anyway... As I recall, BMW is going to differentiate the two like what they did to the 5er and the 6er... They are completely different.

The way the headlights merge with the bumper will not be just like the F30, which is what the renders show. Mark my words!

I like that sketch of the headlight integration to the kidney, the headlights look sharper, and it's an aggressive culmination of the two parts. Can't wait.

I like the render. I'm sure it's fairly close to what we'll actually get. I actually like the render much more than the E9X M3. That doesn't say much for my current car though. If the M4 looks anything like that AW render, I'll be trading up for sure.

Why 4 tail pipes? I thought they were going back to a straight six for this revision?

A little too clean... needs wider fenders and more attitude. Look like a competitor to the S5, when IMO, BMW should be focusing on the C63 and Carrera. Screw Audi... let them make chick cars

agreed, this looks weak. id be super disappointed if that what they came out with. wouldnt they make the front end different from the sedan like the did in the last generation anyway?

My prediction is the headlights will look nothing like this render. I think the head lights on the F30 are uglier than the 1series, didn't think that was possible. The fenders need more oomph! For now I'll keep my 1M and if I still had the E90M3 I probably would have kept that as well!

For the first time it seems like M is taking notes from AMG. Windshield back looks very C63 Maybe it is just the mirrors. Not raw enough or benchmark enough to wear the M3 tag so M4 fits.

All the naysayers will be lining up by production time. If you don't believe me go back and read all the negative comments about the first E92 renders.
It's just the way it goes. The successor doesn't line up to everyone's eye compared to the previous generation but eventually it grows on you... once the modding starts you'll all be locked in.

It will be a great car, but miles away from the E46 M3. I wonder if the M3 sedan will hit the market earlier than the coupe. Also, I have a feeling the price differential between the 3 series sedans and coupes will widen, as will trim levels.

You also seem to have forgotten that besides the dull all-look-the-same A3, A4, A5, A6 and A8, Audi also make the RS5 and the R8. I'm pretty sure that the new M4 (still can't get used to the stupid name), will be priced extremely close to the RS5. |

And look at all the M3 articles posted on the homepage. The articles all say sedan comes before coupe. And f80 m3 prototypes are way ahead in testing than the f82 m4. |
