Anyone have good pics of this Pure Metal Silver?

I've seen M6s from BMW's Google+ page in this color, I would pay 3k for it but not 10k. It looks amazing...but more pics?

EDIT: I would probably take PMS, SSII, Glacier Silver, or Moonstone on Cohiba Brown merino with contrasting stitching.

Or Laguna Seca blue/Atlantis Blue/EB2 on Opal White individual merino with contrasting stitching.

There some good pix and a video of Full Metal Jacket, ooups Pure Metal Silver ( Kind of the same rhytm, sounds serious ) in this thread: http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=844747

$10k is just pure nuts for M3 paint. On a Rolls or Veyron it makes not much difference but on a car that will startout in the $70k range it's just insanity. $5k is a stretch and I would never pay that but if it was $2k maybe.

As far as blues go, is it safe to assume Estoril Blue from the M-Sport 3er will be an option? Would love to see Interlagos again <3

It looks great.

Still not worth 10k. Frozen paint isn't worth 10k.

Hopefully we have San Marino blue.

Maybe MCB on the M3 and San Marino on the M4 to follow the M5/M6 division. I hope though that we who need 4 doors will not get discriminated with less options and colors as we usually are. Maybe the move to an F8X family will stop that nonsense and we will have all the M4's colors and options including CF roof.

It has the look of polished aluminum. Not brushed but polished with autosol or similar. It is very nice and if it was reasonably priced I would get it. But is isn't going to be so for me it will either be Space Gray, Glacier Silver, MCB or whatever "free" paint will be offered of similar type.

After driving the white 550 around for 2 years, I miss my M3 and I miss a more aggressive color. No white, black, silver or grey for me. If I was forced to take that Pure Metal Silver, though.... but I need to finish my garage first.

I would love to see Techno Violet make a comeback, even if only available in the US as an Individual color.

Dakar Yellow and Phoenix Yellow too. I always buy my cars in boring colors, but I love admiring the more unique M-Colors.

That Pure Metal Silver is awesome ! Looks like a silver plated car !

I really don't think they would offer this colour at such a ridiculous price on an M3/M4.
Who know though, but it doesn't make sense that paint costs like 15% of the cost of the car.

On a 6 series GC it's a different customer and price range so I can see someone shell that kind of money for paint for that car.

If you think that is crazy then consider the cost of an optional colour on the upcoming Porsche supercar , the 918

The optional Liquid Metal Blue paint is priced at $65,000 !!!

That's not a typo !

Pure Metal Silver is the , if you can say less expensive commercial derivative of the famed Chrome Shadow used on BMW M Concept Cars.
You would be surprised how many requests BMW has had for that as an Individual option.
All refused of course, the color is exclusive to BMW and for application it costs over $100,000. And no one has had that color reproduced on their BMW.

Crazy, but only half as crazy as a PMS ( the abbreviation is not as cool... ) F80.

65000 / 900000 ~ 7% of total cost vs. 10000 / 70000 ~ 14%.

Anyone know what colour the new 4 series is being shown here in the link in pictures 26 and 27 on the autocar site? (First official pictures of the 4 series!)

M4 would look sharp in this colour

I have Space on my 335d and was 2nd choice for the M3. Great colour.

Gray/Grey - both correct. Grey for UK/Aust. spelling and Gray for US.
Akin to color/colour.

I think some of the darker blues will look good on this car - interlagos, Le Mans, maybe even Aegean.

Even if I'm leaning towards a mid to light blue this time as for darker blues I really like midnight blue.
