Why not just order the car with the optional 19s? Unless you are planning on using the 18s for winter rubber don't get it if you say you are going for stock 19s. What is your goal?

I think you misread. He said he wants to ask (for his Birthday) for wheels in the stock 19" size, not for the stock 19" wheels themselves.

Wonder if these wheels will fit the E92 M3?
They remind me of the M5/6 wheels.
Always wanted them but didn't want to go 20" or replicas.

20's are mandatory for me. I mean even the 991, Cayman and Boxster have 20's. I think they will offer them like the set on the Prototype car up in Carmel. I saw it in person. It was stunning!

I know it´s bit too early to guess, since we don´t know the ET of the new M4 19" wheels, but I was just wondering, whether the E92 M3 Competition Package wheels (359 M) would fit the F82 M4.

275/40 18" is a much taller tire than BMW has used on previous cars like the E90. This is 26.7" in the rear, compared to 25.0" for E90 sizes. 255/40 18" for the fronts is a 26.0" tire.
The E9X M3s with 18s came with 245/40 and 265/40 tires.

Going to 255/40 and 275/40 on 18s only increases the diameter by about 8mm (0.31"). The 19s would increase by about 7mm (0.28"). Not sure where you are getting the extra 1.7" from .

that was a very good observation.

Actually, those last generation ZCP wheels (style 359M) would appear to be the best candidate among the E9x M3 OEM wheels given that they are 19" diameter with 9" wide front and 10" wide rear which match the new F8x style 437M 19" wheel exactly. agree

many people run spacers on the 220m wheels, so that may also be the case on the 359m should you want a less sunk-in look.

personally, the fitment on the 359m on the m3 is even a little sunk in for my taste, and the 220m definitely is. so I was just saying that to get a good fitment, a spacer may be required where arguably it isn't on the e9x

good post though. I am very glad about the extra half inch on the wheels, I greatly prefer a firmer sidewall from a wider wheel

Anyone know the factory OEM wheel sizes/offsets by chance?

Been looking around for the stock 18 and 19" wheel specs...

Anyone have ideas on the stock size rim, width, offset and tire sizes?

The widths of 18s and 19s are 9"/10" front /rear. Tire size is 255/275

I doubt it, if the new car is anything like the F30 3 series. I was going to keep my Klassens for the E92 when I sold it to put on F80 M3 but didn't think they would fit. I guess we'll see.

I just read in this same thread someone said the wheel bolts might be larger??? That's a first for BMW, why would they do that?

We need to know the factory offsets to go further on wheel selection and hopefully BMW kept their 5x120 lug pattern.

I guess to get a rough idea, does anyone know the F30 3-series wheel offsets?

Why Bmw, Why!?!?!?

Just saw this on the pricing guide for the UK M3/4. And this is the picture of the 19' wheel options I saw.



So both color options are 2-tone!?!?!?!?!?

It would have been nice to have an all black and/or all aluminum wheel color.

Gray one is not bad. That's one that I will be choosing. However, black one looks bad. Silver part on black wheel should be darker if they insist going with two tone. It seems it's too shiny and shows too much contrast.

If you look at the auto show pictures, the grey wheels look one color. It's the black wheels that are two-tone (which is lame).

This looks like a photoshop gone wrong to me. The black wheel must be completely black like on the M5. I think in the photoshop they are trying to show the reflection of the gloss and that's what makes it looks two-tone.
