After looking at numerous photos, I think you're right. Black wheels it is.... maybe even CCB brakes. I would like to stick with the lighter color interior though.

Well, reading that quote made me wonder can I even count this language on my list of skills.

I think the whole black yellow as a combo is so strong, one can not add more colors in the mix. With most of the other options, it's not as strict but in my not at all humble opinion, that one let's room for no options other.

In the matters of taste, I'm always right because I recognize no other opinions. And of course, I have never been wrong in anything, just a little less right sometimes.

They should at least have all of the M5/M6 colors, such as SSII and SO, as well as the other common colors. AY & YMB may not be there. I actually brought the AY and SO swatches home to check out in different lighting conditions. I'd ask someone else - can't believe the vegas BMW dealer wouldn't have the swatches, if we have them in NC.

Nope. They didn't have the AY or YMB either. Naturally, they had the M5/M6. Just, nothing for the M3/M4 yet. Again, I thought that was rather lame considering they could take my order yesterday. But, couldn't show me what it would look like. LOL

The color palettes from the BMW website do not do justice to the options available. My recommendation would be to look at the colors at your local dealer (or friend who has an F8x). Even if the color is not on the M model, you will still gain a better appreciation of your likes and dislikes. Color is a personal preference...don't worry about what others think.

There hasn't been a color Ive seen on this car that I don't like, and Ive seen all of them.

I chose Sakhir Orange for a few different reasons. This was my first M car and I wanted it to be special. SO is an M-specific color, its looks great with the CF roof, and the shade varies greatly depending on the lighting.

You should have others tell you why they chose their color, we all do it for different reasons.

This. While Alpine White is classic motorsport, it felt a bit...boring. I am VERY happy with how Sakhir turned out. Looks fantastic. I've had the car for 6 months and 5000 miles and I still fine myself staring at it in my garage or in the parking lot.

1a Mineral Grey 1b Sakhir Orange. I would have been completely happy with either. Alpine White would be my 3rd but I would never buy it. Too popular. If i can include semi-individual options Tanzanite is 3.

If I had got an M4 it would have to be SO or MG. Just personal preference though, you should get the color you like.
