Whats your car year, iPhone type, and what has your experience been like?

12 pro max (still rockin it) and no issues to report in carplay. Idrive 6 in a 2016 M4 (recently upgraded idrive and love it)

When you say you upgraded idrive … does that have to be done at the dealership? What exactly are you referring to? Does it need to be done for ios17? Don’t you have to pay extra for CarPlay on idrive 6

2019 BMW M4, iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 17.0.3, No issues.

Does anyone have any pointers for saving battery life on the new OS? I have background app refresh off. I went through notifications and turned off what I don’t use. I turned off fetch for emails. I have screen brightness on auto. Anything else recommended to save on battery life that you’ve found?

In 17.0.3 I've noticed my battery losing charge much quicker too. When I first got my iPhone 15, I could leave it overnight and I would lose maybe 2%. Now it's almost 10%. I already went through 17 Cycle Charges LOL.

I’ve started having an issue where it keeps going back to CarPlay. Go to sat radio and 2 seconds later it switches to CarPlay. Keeps doing that until I turn off WiFi/bluetooth.

My battery is showing at 88% health

Anyone know of any settings that can be diactivated for improved battery life after doing this update?
