Just as a note to original question. The guy who ran 11.1 on drag radials pulled a 1.6 60'.
Yes, with some proper times the car would be under 11 seconds. My current plan is to put 275/35/19 and 295/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's on the car. Already have the front's .

Those should work quite well. You could always just pick up some Mickey Thompsons LOL. I wonder how the grip of R888 is compared to PSC2. The price of PSC tires makes me want to vomit.

I could do that, but I'm going to be tracking the car on road courses so wanted a tire that would be useful in that scenario as well. And yes they are super expensive but they're a really impressive tire - so (arguably haha) worth it!

Waiting to see what happens with the weather, supposed to get 6-10" of snow today, but so far looks like it's just going to rain (fingers crossed). If the weather holds and they don't throw salt down I'm going to TRY to get down to ATCO in the next few weeks.

Honestly I think for straight line traction they will be very similar new vs new. Where michelin tires always come out on top is turn in, feel , and excellent heat cycling. I think it will be very hard to break into the 10's in the M4 on any street able tire, look how long it took for the M6 and its much easier to launch. It will happen but it will take someone with a lot of skill and a lot of practice. The half shafts are not up for Mickey Thompsons IMHO which has been proven on the M5/6 but they will def give you the best shot at 10's. You just have to accept a broken half shaft as a fact of life sooner rather than later.

Agreed - the PSC2 won't over loads more off the line traction than the PSS but I'm hoping it will be a slight improvement. Part of the problem I had with this run here is that I had the Adaptive Suspension set to Sport+ when it should have been in Comfort and I forgot to drop the tire pressures

I know this post is older but just picked up my F80 and about to take to the 1/4 track to race a Camaro and Challenger so this caught my eye.
The 11sec time slip is impressive to me with a 2.1 sec 60ft. I know the
Toyo R888 allowed me to run a soft 1.7 sec 60ft with my C7 and 600rwhp,tq on a not so prepped track (was pulling a 2.34 60ft on street tires before the Toyo's). I ran a 11.69 at 126 DA 8200 that night.

Yes, traction on these cars is difficult. I was able to up my trap speed (127.3), but still haven't had a chance to decrease the ET, need stickier tires!

Same sizes I got! Hopefully I'll be able to get them on the car before Wednesday (planning on going to drag strip that night), but we'll see how UPS does delivering them haha.

Well, I have been losing traction in third with the PSS's, so they can't be worse!
