I attempted to do this with my Carly app and do not believe it allows me the option. I have the led adaptive headlights and truly wanted this change the most. Any insight? If I cannot with Carly, can someone assist? I have a windows or Mac laptop and cable. Thanks!

To make it work you need an OBDII ethernet cable (edit: I see now you said you have the cable) and do the proper coding with the BMW E-sys software. All the information on how to do it is on the forum here, as well as how to "get the software." It's not exactly simple, and it's easy to break stuff if you don't know what you are doing. You might want to look into hiring someone on the forum here to do remote coding services. |

Do you have an enet cable and laptop? I'd be more than happy to try to remotely code your car for the led headlights. I've never done euro mdm but we could take a look at that. If you want pm me and we can go from there

i have a 2018 F83 comp with all options, I did not have to code this feature, just put the correct headlight setting and press the left bar for signal on bottom and the headlight go high and low beam based on traffic condition or no cars in front of me or coming towards me and go automatically to low beam.

I went for a nice drive late last night did a bit of mixed driving. Shuffled between automatic highbeams on/off, lights on. Results are amazing, it's a real shame this technology is hidden from us in this country. |
