Met up with kaiv today to check out his AA EL resonated midpipe. His car was beautiful and the AA EL mid really sounded smooth with the valves closed and when they were open, it is exactly what the F80/F82 should of sounded like from the factory. Thank you again for taking the time to meet up, hopefully see you around SD again.

If they're anything like the Weathertech in-channel visors I have for my '15 Jeep Grand Cherokee, opening & closing the windows is annoying; you can hear the windows kind of struggling as they go down & up against the visor areas. Kind of concerning since BMW window regulators tend to fail often at least that was my experience with a E90. Not sure if window regulators have improved on F series bodies.
Thanks for the info. Yeah it also struggles. I only have the rears installed. Let's see how long the regulators last.

Hey all just picked up a 18' Magnetic black ZCP F80.

Any recommendations for a shop down here in San Diego for general maintenance and repainting bumpers? I've heard on the FB group about 2M Autowerks anyone have experience with them?

Congrats on your purchase!
For maintenance I use B & B Autohaus and for paint I use Darby's auto body. I've used both on multiple occasions and they are both excellent.

I removed my front bumper and had all the scratches filled, sanded and resprayed at Philip Thearle's Autowerks Collision Center. They did an amazing job and the paint has a lifetime warranty. You get what you pay for with regards to quality.

I wouldn't let 2M touch my bumper, let alone my whole car. If you want a cheap price, then 2M might be your place but I was not impressed with what I saw when I stopped by for a quote.

At 3:40pm today, I was following a Austin Yellow M4 (Lic. Turon M4) on Main Street, then it turned north on Brandywine into the stop and rob parking lot. Great looking car, I gave you a thumbs as I went by.

It looks great in the pic but that's not always a true representation.

I have seen a Frozen Blue M3CS around East H Street and Otay Lakes Road a couple of times in the past month, wonder if it was you? We were always going opposite directions.

If it had the MPE was exhaust and expired plates it's me lol. I haven't driven it much lately but I'm always in that area. Kinda pissed I can't drive it much. Transferring my registration to Florida and it's taking forever with this Covid shit.

Well if you ever have an afternoon available, we should get lunch somewhere. I would love to check out your CS.

Have a good weekend.
