Dinan may decide to pay your repair bills for you ... or they may not. Personally I have never met a person with a Dinan tune, who's had major issues, and had Dinan pay for them. |

You know with the M340i coming about and all that. GrussGott exactly. The fact that some people on the forum here wave that Dinan "warranty" nonsense around annoys me. I have nothing against Dinan, but don't go saying they have warranty. There is no such thing as tune w/ warranty. That does not exist. If people want to be ignorant about it then so be it, but don't go spreading bullshit to newbies and allow them to believe it either. Most likely nothing will happen but I will be damned to see that kind of misinformation go around. If something happens to a Dinan tune, you go into a dealership and wave that crap around their face, most likely hood of what is going to happen is the dealership is going laugh in your face and tell you good luck.

Just to ensure I get a Trump post in today ... Howard Stern:
“I was watching the news. They said that the president calls his friends and asks advice ... My advice would be, like, get the fuck out of there, man.”* He's got Mueller coming. * He's got Stormy coming. * Now he's got AG's coming with a historic hurdle cleared: A federal judge on Wednesday ruled that a pair of attorneys general have legal standing to sue President Donald Trump over claims that he's violating the Constitution, marking the first time such a lawsuit has cleared that legal hurdle. The suit accuses Trump of violating the emoluments clause of the Constitution by taking payments from foreign-government officials via his hotel in Washington, DC.Get the fuck out of there indeed |

Animal rights activists do have a point often but why do they always have to whine so much? All they have to do is to vote and overrule the rule for hunted meat to be allowed and then maybe they'll learn why exactly we grow our meats. Attacking a restaurant that follows the rules is just pathetic and if they really wanted to make a contribution they should look at fishing industry. Is it really this hard? Has everyone forgotten the epic documentaries made about the food industry all over the world? We have an infestation of fox saving ladies here who keep releasing minks to our nature. They ruin our lakes with their actions, and they're pushing the industry to Russia and china which are world renown animal rights forerunners. That chef deserves a medal, preferably made from meat!

And that's coming from someone who DOES support animal rights. I just think the targets are often picked for their impact and shock value more than really making a change. Want to protest something? Why not protest the fact that millions upon millions of male baby chicks are thrown into grinders (fully alive and conscious) within moments of escaping their eggs because the meat industry has no use for too many Roosters. Or protest battery cages. Where chickens, calves and pigs are squeezed into cages that barely fit their bodies so that they can't move, keep costs down and have more tender meat. I could go on. An individual restaurant owner butchering meat? Give me a break. One of the reasons I gave up meat is because of the atrocities of the food industry. I do believe that how we treat animals will be one of the things our descendants will eventually be ashamed of us about. So, I do support animal rights. But these protesters - they're just dicks. The restaurant is a few blocks from their hip apartment in their hip neighborhood. Plus there are cameras around. Restaurant owner did a good job.

I remember in the 90's when my dad was working on prison reform here, and one of the job training programs offered to the inmates was to learn a profession in agriculture, mainly in taking care of an ancient breed of cattle. Such an epic program for the recovering addicts and to the whole Finnish agriculture since it was very hard for them to find workers. Back in those days there were articles everywhere about how our agricultural workers were so run down that the animals were not taken care as well as they should've been. It was a huge scandal here. Well, then the animal rights people started attacking the inmates who were trained and looked after very well, they had all the current information and they were hungry to get out of the cities they got in trouble in. You can see where this story goes. We have very little modern agricultural industry here, and importing food apparently is the better option. I don't know what exactly they think they get out of protests like that. For sure they get their faces to the papers but if they really wanted to make a difference, they'd target the industries you listed or even better: Do positive campaigns about who serve well produced ingredients grown near by. I'm a big supporter of animal rights too, but I'd like an attitude change in protesters. The mink freeing idiots we have here have ruined our bird lakes, our natural breeds of the sort are almost gone and the industry is moving to china: Apparently that's winning.

These AGs are suing Trump personally for violation for the emoluments clause of the US constitution ... which a fancy way of saying Trump is corrupt by using his position as President to personally enrich himself in office which creates massive conflicts of interest. No such lawsuit has ever crossed the first hurdle, but this one has; not a good sign for the president. ---------------- As for the citizenship question on the census, here are facts vs what you might hear from, say, The White House: The citizenship question on the census: * was included until 1950 when it was dropped due to low levels of immigration * was not on 1960 census * Was reintroduced in 1970 on the long form <- this is key because only ~16% of the population gets "the long form" which is statical tool, not "the census". The term "the census" refers to the short form - again, that's key, because "the census" is NOT the statistical socioeconomic statistical deep dive tool that is issued coincident with the short form The long form statistical tool maintained its citizenship question until 2010 when the long form was eliminated in favor of a new statistical tool called "The American Community Survey". What this all means is that "the census" has not a citizenship question since 1950. The reason it's a problem is because having the question will disincent people to answer, including legal immigrants, which will have an impact on redistricting, federal funding, health care, and every single social science model that uses the census as it's core data set to model. For example, your business might get hit because the new census data will come out wrong in terms of modeling road / infrastructure use which will then pull down funding. You of all people should be opposed to adding that question.

I'm just going to tell you this story of bitter tears.
I took my kids sledging in the am. They were being such a delight, I cranked up the tunes and ignored their demands of a better hill and bigger jumps. On the off topic side there is a thread about heavier music where i a few days ago compared Metallica to Canadian milk. It struck me as an odd comparison even from me, but I had forgotten all about it by the time Enter Sandman started playing. I was overtaken by mild but weird muscle spasms and a memory surfaced from the 90's. Our team geographer was on maternity leave so out coach thought it was a good idea to let us all compete in creating a long program for our team for the summer season. As you all know, my main reason to detest Canada is milk, but alanis morissette is a close second. Since we were given the opportunity to do a non serious program that was mainly meant to keep us motivated during the off season and to be performed in some shows, I went all in! Enter sandman was the song I used because I thought it was popular enough for my classical music junkie team mates. Long story short, their ears were bleeding half way through the song and my program was not only ranked to a whole new category of a HELL NO, I was banned from bringing music to practices too (like I ever would've brought Metallica. That was for girls anyway!) Well, anyway. We came home, and I was still listening to a random YouTube mix when Jerry Lewis song came up. The weird spasms started again and they were attempting to sync with the tempo. It was like having a seizure on some happy section of the brain. I got the kids home, and sent them with the grandparents to their cabin. I called my old pall who used to go dancing with me all the time before I fucked up my ankle and we made plans for the night. He specifically told me to hydrate well! I polished my spasm shoes, found a skirt that can do well with the flips and flops (flops when performed by me. He is an excellent dancer.) I even did some weird shit to my hair and a brush started to go through the nest I've been rocking today. An hour before leaving, the hubby noted that I had forgotten to give the kids the extra milks to go with them to the cabin and I should drink them up so they won't go to waste. They were dated for today and you guys know how serious I am about milk! Anyway, the bar we were going doesn't serve milk, I don't drink water or sodas and alcohol and heels are a no go with my recovering ankle, so I sat down to handle the milk situation. Admittedly the sledging had gotten me dehydrated but when I started my third 1.5 liter canister, I was starting to feel the effects of a serious milk coma. I took a nice 10 minute break and prepared a Jerusalem artichoke soup to keep me going through the night. Anyway. I haven't been drinking milk as much as I used to thanks to my shitty ankle. Dragging it around has been a bit much so cutting my portion has been the easy way to go. Jerusalem artichoke soup in the other hand is a great ingredient in a soup but if you're not used to it, it can really fuck up your indigestion. I had my soup, and a fourth 1.5litres of milk. The time to go was getting nearer but somehow the cold sweat forming on my forehead should've been seen as a sign that my dietary choices for the day were not going to support my evening plans. The plant and the milk od combination is actually quite painful though nothing is coming out. This isn't that shitty story yet at least. My friend ended up going to play pool with my traitorous husband while I'm stuck at home. I give myself full marks for my commitment towards milk freshness and the soup was excellent too might I say but I guess I'll add dancing to the reasons I hate Canada from now on! Happy Friday everybody! Except Canadians!

I know you've all been waiting for an update!
A person can drink 7.5 liters of milk in one evening.

Anyone know about some recommendations for wireless over-ear headphones?
Looked at Sony Wh1000XM2 and Bose QuietComfort 35 Series 2 since they seem to be on top of every list but... anything else? B&O? Sennheiser? Lups Except for me, I'm lactose intolerant.

Definitely cellphone. iMusic mainly not Spotify. Pandora from time to time. Close to Audiophile quality good enough. yeah i would love to get lost in the music and ignore the outside world. That's why I pointed to the two headphones I listed. They seem small enough I can put in my car and from what I can tell the Bose as a carjack ability that I can recharge in my car. I don't know if the Sony has that or not.

As an example, poor kids in your community will be directly affected and likely will go without lunch because school lunch program funding is based on that data. And those kids will suffer because our president wants to score a small political point. |
